Welcome to the USS Tecumseh!
At the beginning of the 25th century...In the wake of the last four decades, conflict, upheaval, change, the Federation and Starfleet have struggled from dealing with conflict, struggled to explore, faced the internal conflicts and stood tall through most of it, Starfleet continues the tenuous balance between defense and exploration. The Ascension class were scheduled to be mothballed, command feeling that the idea of such massive ships were no longer needed, that ended with the disaster of Founder's day. The incomplete hull of the ninth ship was hauled into the shipyard with a 300 day delivery deadline. Named USS Tecumseh named after the Canadian warship that stood for both peace and strength in the face of an uncertain time this iteration is part of the first line of defense and the last best hope in time of need...it's 2402 the next chapter is yet to be written.

He lowered himself down and pushed himself up before popping upright to his feet. Taking a towel from a nearby chair, he wiped the sweat from his brow.
The air was cold and bracing but the lights were softly lit in the small living room that held Major Samuel ‘Sam’ Braddock, Federation Marine Corps. Lieutenant Commander Alex Carter, the ship's Chief Operations Officer, was at his station in the Operations Center, reviewing the morning reports. His shift had begun an hour earlier, but Alex was accustomed to starting his day before most of the crew.
The Operations Center was bustling with activity as officers monitored the ship’s systems. Alex, with his usual calm demeanor, oversaw it all. He was responsible for ensuring the Tecumseh ran smoothly, from power distribution to life support and communications. It was a demanding job, but Alex thrived under pressure.
He tapped a few commands into his console, bringing up…
